Vandenberg Construction delivers Level 5 finish for painted walls and ceilings in high-visibility areas. Level 4 is standard for most interior walls. Level 5 is the difference between a wall that looks good and a wall that looks professional under raking light. We don’t cut to Level 3 and call it done.

Both. We do full new construction drywall for additions and new builds, full room hang-and-finish for remodels, and patch work for damage repairs. No job is too small if it’s within our service area.

Texture matching is a craft skill. Ryan Vandenberg’s background in finish work means we take texture matching seriously. For patch repairs, we spray or hand-apply to match the existing texture. We will not leave a patch that looks like a patch.

Hanging drywall on a standard room addition (400–600 sq ft) takes 1–2 days. Taping, mudding, and finish coats take another 4–7 days with proper drying time between coats. Rushing the mud-and-tape process causes cracking—Vandenberg does not rush this step.

Both. Smooth ceilings require a Level 5 finish and are significantly more labor-intensive than textured ceilings. Orange peel and knockdown textures are faster and more forgiving, which is why most production builders use them. Vandenberg does both; smooth ceilings are priced accordingly.
